Concert Series at Harbourside Park

This summer has been jammed packed with fun for us here at The Pottle Centre. One of the activities we’ve really enjoyed doing this summer is walking down to Harbourside Park to watch the concert series hosted by the City of St. John’s every Friday. We like to walk to the park a little bit early with a bagged lunch and some treats and make a picnic out of it – a perfect Friday afternoon! While the weather wasn’t always on our side – cue the infamous rain, drizzle and fog – we were still able to go see a couple different acts when the weather was more favourable! It was really nice to see up-and-coming youth acts alongside some of our favourite local artists. Being involved in the community is something that is very important to us here at the Centre, so we really enjoyed going out to support our local talent and music industry. Harbourside Park is one of the all-around favourite activities we have throughout the summer amongst members, so we’re very happy that the City has continued to put off this event year after year. There’s nothing better than music, treats and the sun on a nice summer’s day!
