Telus makes big donation

In fall 2014, we applied for funding through a grant opportunity from Telus. Within the Atlantic Region, we were so fortunate to be chosen. This past spring we had 2 post grad students from Memorial University begin work on this project. They have done research on the topic of “Healthy Relationships”. The material has become a guide for staff or volunteers to use as a teaching tool when working with the members.We are now at the editting phase of the project. The plan is to offer this information through weekly sessions to be held in the centre and to be able to do this for years to come. We will certainly keep you up to date on the progress of this project.
