Volunteer Week Party

Next week is Volunteer Week, April 15- 21, 2018. There are events going on around town. Volunteers are such a vital part of the community. The Pottle Centre is a staff of just two people so volunteers have a huge impact for us at the centre. Volunteers help the Centre to run more efficiently and to be more effective. It’s never too late to get involved with a group like ours. Many places do require a certificate of Conduct through the RNC or RCMP. At the Pottle Centre, we do require that documentation and there are fees attached to the application process but we can help potential volunteers to have the fees waived. This year we will host a little get together during Volunteer Week. We have received a small grant through the Community Sector Council and we are delighted because it will allow us to host this little party, to thank our wonderful volunteers! We will host this event on Friday, April 20th at noon. If you are connected to the Pottle Centre as a member or a Volunteer, we welcome you to join us!
